		<description>Thank you for the clarification you&#039;ve provided to correct the obvious misreporting. I have worked for one of these charities/not for profit organisations previously and all the numbers provided by Smart Salary are absolutely correct. My tax saving (as a junior staff) or that of the director was no more than ~$4000 per year. Given that these organizations hardly enjoy perks possible in many other places, this salary sacrifice arrangement is one of the best ways that they have been able to retain staff and win their loyality. I think taking it away would be counter productive and hurt these organisations, some of which are private world class medical research institutes that Australia showcases to the rest of the world.</description>
