Deven joined SmartSalary in 2000 in a business development capacity, and was appointed as CEO in 2002. He supports the SmartSalary team in further developing the business and servicing existing clients. Deven started his career as an engineering consultant, before turning to management consulting with Booz Allen Hamilton.
Deven has an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA.
Deven is keen traveller, with a preference towards backpacking through less developed pockets of the world. He is also a closet economist and hopeful runner. He has a weakness for red wine and macadamia nuts!
